Hello, we are Rachel and Makenna, Seattle natives who came together as partners in real estate after working in teaching and communications. We want to share our love of the area while also acting as guides for clients during the home buying and selling process. After meeting several clients from out of state and learning about “Move to Tacoma,” Greater Seattle Living was created to help new and existing Seattleites navigate the Emerald City. Rachel Rowland
After 10 years of teaching in the Issaquah School District, culminating in the isolation of community over Zoom, I realized that my skills of breaking down complicated tasks and making others feel heard and understood would be best utilized elsewhere. As a homeowner, I had used real estate as a tool to escape rising rents, provide stability, and build wealth. Thus, I decided to shift my mentoring focus to adults where I could fully share this experience.
I like to think of myself as a Real Estate Matchmaker, pairing buyers to the right home and homes to the right buyers. I strive to move members of my community toward their home ownership dreams through education, effective communication, highly personalized negotiation and professional partnerships. No matter what the real estate experts say, the best time to buy or sell a home is when you’re ready. This Seattleite’s goal is to help you get there!

Makenna Pellerin
Raised on Mercer Island, I am driven and eager to help others find their home in the wonderful Pacific Northwest. I use valuable skills from my years as a student-athlete to navigate the real estate industry and ensure constant and efficient communication throughout the entire transaction.
My goal is to help friends, family and connections along the way begin a new journey, whether they are looking to close a door or open a new one. When I’m out of the office, you can find me at a local softball field, cheering on the Seattle sports teams or spending quality time with friends and family.

Rachel is awesome to work with! Rachel has a great eye for detail and keeps here clients in the front of her thoughts while maintaining a positive attitude. The positive attitude was super helpful in such a competitive and stressful market! My wife and I really appreciated her kindness and patience during phone calls where we debated one option versus another or sent her a listing or text late at night! She’s very good at listening to wish-list items and noticing what features of a house click for someone. I quickly noticed all of the listings she sent my wife and I were tailored to either what we were looking for or were houses that had something appealing we had not considered. During the buying process she quickly put together an inspection for us and even more quickly put together a supplementary inspection! Even after closing she has been great about questions and last details. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Rachel and would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
